Adult Family Living
This program/service is aimed for elderly individuals aged 65 and over, who need help with a combination of activities of daily living (ADL). This program works by providing financial assistance and support for family members or friends who act as the caregiver. In the AFL program the caregiver must reside in the same property as the recipient of care.
These activities can include:
• Transferring from a bed to a chair
• Dressing
• Bathing
• Eating
• Cooking
• Medicine management
